St. Mary Magdalene

The first witness to the Resurrection, Mary Magdalene was among Jesus's most devoted followers, present at the Crucifixion when nearly all the apostles had fled. Jesus appeared to her first after rising and sent her to announce the Resurrection — earning her the ancient title "Apostle to the Apostles." Pope Francis elevated her memorial to a Feast in 2016.
