St. Thomas Aquinas

A thirteenth-century Dominican friar and Doctor of the Church considered the greatest theologian and philosopher in Catholic history. His Summa Theologiae synthesized faith and reason in a systematic theology that remains foundational in Catholic thought. Despite his immense intellect he was known for profound humility and deep Eucharistic devotion. He is the patron saint of students and universities.
