Our Lady of Lourdes

On February 11, 1858, the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to fourteen-year-old Bernadette Soubirous in a grotto at Lourdes, France, beginning eighteen apparitions. She identified herself as "the Immaculate Conception." The spring that emerged has been the site of thousands of reported healings. Lourdes remains the most visited Marian shrine in the world.

Why it matters for your parish: One of the most universally known and beloved Marian shrines — high engagement content for virtually any parish. A natural connection to healing, hope, and the Immaculate Conception.
