St. Cecilia
A Roman martyr from the second or third century who sang hymns to God in her heart as she was martyred. Her story of converting her husband Valerian and his brother before their martyrdom alongside her has made her one of the most beloved early martyrs. She is the patron saint of musicians, composers, and church music.
