St. Fidelis of Sigmaringen

A seventeenth-century German Capuchin priest who gave up a successful legal career to enter religious life and was sent to preach among Calvinist communities in Switzerland. He was killed in 1622 after refusing to renounce his faith, becoming the first martyr of the Congregation for the Propagation of the Faith. He is the patron saint of lawyers.
