St. Pius V

A Dominican friar who became pope in 1566 and implemented the sweeping reforms of the Council of Trent, standardizing the Roman Missal. Pius V organized the Christian naval fleet that defeated the Ottoman Empire at the Battle of Lepanto in 1571 — a victory he credited entirely to the Rosary.

Why it matters for your parish: A reforming pope whose legacy touches the Mass, the Rosary, and the defense of Christian civilization. Ideal for parishes with strong Marian devotion or Rosary-focused programming.
